Job Summary
The ideal individual has significant line cooking experience and culinary training, is excited to support a great staff environment, and embraces working in a rustic environment in a luxury resort. If you love Yosemite, please apply!
Sous Chef Benefits:
- Wage $24-26 per hour full time
- The position is full-time year-round but will consider season applicants
- Room and board are included for a fixed cost, there are tent sites on the property for the summer or off-site apartments – must have a car
- Meals included
- Healthcare benefits available after 90 days
- 401K eligible with company match after 1 year
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Prior Line Cook or Sous Chef experience
- Be able to work on a fast-paced line, while adhering to menu standards
- Strong culinary training (formal or informal)
- Excited about creating a warm family atmosphere for staff while maintaining high standards (has had prior success managing to these goals)
- Strong interest in training/coaching
- Independent thinker with great initiative, but comfortable working within a defined framework
