Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly-qualified Executive Chef for their four-diamond boutique property in Omaha, NE. This unique opening offers endless opportunities for growth in a collaborative and rewarding work environment. The ideal candidate has recent and significant experience as an Executive Chef at an upscale branded hotel and a passion for leading teams while effectively demonstrating high integrity at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all culinary team activities including setting big-picture and incremental goals
- Work with the Director of Food & Beverage to develop marketing, sales, and promotional strategies to grow the business and overall profitability including sales of meeting rooms and private dining events
- Provide exceptional cuisine in a proficient and memorable manner while consistently meeting or exceeding financial goals
- Manage the culinary division in order to attract, retain and motivate employees including hiring, training, developing, and correcting
- Manage the maintenance/sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the asset, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
- Work with the Director of Food & Beverage to manage the division's annual budget, forecasts, and objectives to meet/exceed management expectations
- Member of the property Executive Leadership Team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recent Executive Chef experience at an upscale full-service hotel, required
- Culinary management experience in a Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt property, preferred
- Culinary degree, preferred
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate a large and diverse team including management-level direct reports
- Ability and desire to work a flexible schedule, as the business requires
