Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • ·       Uphold the standards of the concept
  • ·       Supervise the hourly kitchen team to achieve daily objectives
  • ·  Responsible for Menu Planning, Menu Development, and Cost Controls
  • ·    Assisting with ongoing supervision of producing food of the highest quality, executed promptly and consistently, plans and communicates effectively with team and supervisors
  • ·        Leads by example
  • ·       Hiring, Training, and Development of the kitchen staff

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • ·        3 years of experience in an upscale food operation
  • ·        Knowledge of various culinary styles and line-level cooking stations
  • ·        Upholding the safety and sanitation station standards of the concept.
  • ·        Ability to Motivate and drive performance throughout the team
  • ·        Must be proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, and sanitation
