Civil Engineer Responsibilities: 

  • Project Management 
  • Proposal Development 
  • Client Development and Client Management 
  • Funding Application Writing and Grant Administration 
  • Development of design drawings, specifications, and bid documents. 
  • Development of Project Plans, Schedules, and Budgets 
  • Managing site plan design, infrastructure design support, drainage plans, and the drafting and calculations that are typically associated with this work. 
  • Oversight of junior staff 

Civil Engineer Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering. 
  • Registered Professional Engineer 
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or another drafting platform. 
  • Previous engineering experience desired, 10+ years. 
  • Driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. 
  • General computer literacy, with working proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • A general aptitude and desire to work in a flexible office environment where there will be a variety of duties. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
