Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Engineering Designer for a Steel Manufacturer, The Engineering Designer would need excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills. With a focus on safety, details, and quality, the Designer would create drawings, nesting programs, and burn files and examine them for accuracy and completeness.

Engineering Designer-Steel Manufacturer Responsibilities:

  • Calculate weights and dimensions and raw material requirements.
  • Create prints and drawings, monitor and analyze raw materials for efficiency.
  • Become familiar with company products, manufacturing practices, and design tools.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, engineers, and other manufacturers.

Engineering Designer-Steel Manufacturer Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office
  • AutoCad
  • Inventor
  • Vault
