We are searching for a strong Assistant General Manager to develop, train and lead restaurant staff to achieve objective sales and guest service to the highest level. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oversee performance review process for all employees
- Work hand-in-hand with General Manager to deliver disciplinary write-ups and terminations
- Ensure all new hires are thoroughly trained on the expectations of service standards
- Implement operating standards for the service team
- Perform various financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience
- 3+ years restaurant/hospitality experience
- Able to lift 30+ pounds
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Communicates information effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to utilize traditional software programs such as Gmail, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and any additional systems as needed; Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, if the needs of the business and position dictate
