Requirements

National buying experience
Established nation-wide relationships with suppliers crossing all segments of products in the food manufacturing space
Strong forecasting futures skillset
Understanding of Logistics & Freight with established relationships
5+ years in food manufacturing leadership
Proven record of delivering measurable cost savings and process improvements
Knowledge of FDA, USDA, FSMA, and food industry vendor compliance
Strong negotiation and contract management expertise
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies aligned with company growth
Manage sourcing of ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials
Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and long-term partnerships
Monitor market trends and proactively manage supply risk
Establish procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance
Ensure compliance with food safety and sustainability goals
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team
