Seeking an in-house Accountant for the Tampa FL market, to oversee general responsibilities for a Construction company. The company values honesty, compassion and teamwork… and looking for someone that believes in the same!

Construction Accountant Requirements:

Must be local to northern Tampa area, or reside north of Tampa
2+ years of current Accounting experience
Proven experience in construction accounting
Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
Experience with financial concepts including accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting
Experience with Foundation software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively
Autonomous mentality, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Construction Accountant Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience with payroll processing and tax-related responsibilities (very strongly preferred)
